VBVBA 14 Force

As most, if not all of you know by now, I will be getting married on Sat. Nov. 29. In preparation for the wedding and subsequent honeymoon (yeah, Orlando!), I will be unavailable from Sat. 11/22 through Wed. 12/10 with no real access to phone or email! I look forward to returning and jumping full bore in to VBVBA 14 FORCE!!!

Wow! What a great weekend! First on Saturday, I want to thank of you who helped out with the Yard Sale! Even though the weather was iffy, I think it was a great success for our team! Thanks for to wonderful donations and some great salesmanship (special thanks to Mrs. David!), we sold $258.85 – approximately! That was a great number! Cheryl mentioned to me that # should pay for a couple of tournaments entries for our team! Great job by all and thank you!

And then Sunday! I think it was a great opportunity to have the girls really get to start to know each other and and get some work in. I was happy to see many of girls out there and for me personally it was a huge benefit to finally see everyone on a court and start to get an idea on what to work on with our team! I will be posting a separate announcement this morning with news of our next "scrimmage / clinic"!

So we are going to have a chance to play! TVA this Sunday, 10/19 from 3:30 – 5 we are getting both 14’s teams together for some open gym playing at TVA. Please email Susan Steele (she sent email today!) if you can make it! See you there!

Sorry to inform, but word just came down that Sundays at Red Mill are now OFF. That’s all the details I have at this time. If any "open gym" type time becomes available, I’ll be sure to let everyone know!
